Scott Larson joined Blackjacket Group in 2012, coming with over 39 years of EMS experience.  He is a volunteer member of the Cedar Grove Ambulance & Rescue Squad and is serving as their president.  He previously served as their training officer and ambulance lieutenant.

Scott has previously worked for Saint Michael’s Medical Center as Director of EMS Training overseeing the EMT, ACLS and CPR training for 17 years and for LifeSavers, Inc. as Vice President of Operations.  While at Saint Michael’s Medical Center, he served on the Code Blue Committee, Employee Satisfaction Committee and Emergency Preparedness Committee. Scott currently serves as Chair of the American Heart Association Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) Committee for New Jersey and has served as a member of the AHA PROAD committee based out of the AHA national headquarters in Texas.

Scott has been teaching American Heart Association courses since the 1970’s.
